Apple chooses a weekly Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on production) R $ 9.90, and we do MacMagazine we also took the opportunity to mine other offers with the same value.
The title selected by Apple this time was “Once Upon A Time … Hollywood”, scripted and directed by Quentin Tarantino, with a large cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Dakota Fanning and Al Pacino.
Check out his trailer:
Here is the synopsis of the film:
“Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood”, by Quentin Tarantino, takes us to 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing. TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his former stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) try to make their way into an industry they no longer recognize. The screenwriter-director’s ninth film features a large cast and several stories in honor of the last years of Hollywood’s golden age.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio [@tripalavra], who is a movie buff, also sent us a comment about the film:
THE Movie of the week it is interesting, but far from the best of Tarantino. For those who know the original story on which the film was based, I really wanted this “fairy tale” to be real. The cast is great, but I saw no reason for Brad Pitt to win the Oscar. Samuel L. Jackson on “Pulp Fiction”, for example, was worthy; but you will understand the academy … Sometimes the film is slow, tiring, leaving its nectar for the final ten minutes.
