In addition to Free app of the week, every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week, whose purchase is for $ 3. The title selected this time was Victor Frankenstein, with Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy.
Check out his trailer:
Here's what Apple says about the movie:
Inspired by the classic of Mary Shelley, this story unfolds through the eyes of Igor (Daniel Radcliffe), a circus clown who is abused by his colleagues and studies anatomy in his spare time. After meeting with Victor Frankenstein (James McAvoy) and being rescued by the arrogant medical student, the two start looking for a way to create life at any cost. In addition to the powerful performances of the actors, the film directed by Paul McGuigan presents the eternal dispute between science and religion, and has an impressive gothic look.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
How to talk about Frankenstein without remembering Robert De Niro in the role of the fearful monster? How to forget Mary Shelley's version? Difficult, isn't it? But exactly what the Movie of the week seeks to do. With a plot focused on the madness of Victor Frankenstein and his assistant Quasmodo, the plot seeks amidst several flaws in the script to present a frenthic and at the same time, human history. I can not say that the film is good and so little that it is bad. But I can say that this week's investment is not worth it. Not to mention that it is already running on paid channels and should soon land on streaming.
