Every Thursday Apple picks one Movie of the week iTunes Store, whose purchase (even at 4K / HDR, depending on production) comes R $ 9.90. The title selected this time was “The Nun”, horror film by British filmmaker Corin Hardy.
Check out his trailer:
Here's what Apple says about the movie:
One of cinema's most successful horror franchises hits the fifth movie without wear. Like “Annabelle”, “The Nun” explores the myths presented in “Invocation of Evil” (2013), but creates an original microuniverse: in 1952 Father Burke (Demin Bichir) and Novice Irene (Taissa Farmiga) investigate the alleged Suicide of a nun in a monastery with a sinister story in Romania. British filmmaker Corin Hardy creates a tense and personality suspense, thanks to the talent of Taissa, sister of Vera Farmiga, an actress who has played Lorraine Warren since the beginning of the series.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who's a movie buff, also sent us a personalized comment about the movie:
O Movie of the week for some scary; for others, not so much; for me just one spin off. Drinking from the source of one of the most successful franchises in the horror genre of recent times, this production has an idea that sometimes gets lost in the midst of its script, taking advantage of a very well created character, but without proper touches. The little captivating plot, with moments of fright, but that could have been deeper. I do not think it deserves a continuation, but the fact that in Hollywood make lemon, lemonade ie always have room for more. I consider a horror movie okay, no more no less.
