Every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on the production) R $ 9.90. The title selected this time was “The Queen of Spain”, with Penlope Cruz and great cast.
Check out his trailer:
Here's what Apple says about the movie:
Almost 20 years after the first film, director Fernando Trueba returns to the world of actress Macarena Granada, played by Penlope Cruz. The fictional star is now famous in Hollywood, but decides to return to star in a superproduction in Spain in the 1950s, in the midst of Francoism. During filming, she discovers that colleague Blas Fontiveros (Antonio Resines) has been sent to prison and decides to form a rescue group. As in the previous feature, Trueba balances the extravagant humor of the script well with the message against oppression, with an inspired interpretation of Cruz.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
This week we have a production with a good cast and a very good idea. Obviously the highlight goes to Penlope Cruz who, as always, has his highlight. However, some script and driving flaws undermined what could have been a great movie in the end, we have a normal production. As I always say, fans will love it; those who expect good production / classics well, may prefer to wait for the next week.
