In addition to App of the week, every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week, whose purchase is only $ 3. The title selected this time was The Bone Collector, with Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie.

Here's what Apple says about the movie:
Good police stories are told by detectives, and based on this idea that The Bone Collector brings an electrifying plot. Based on the book that bears the same name, this thriller Intelligent bet on a cerebral script and much more than the formula shot, beat and bomb. The plot revolves around the brilliant detective Lincoln Rhyme (Denzel Washington), who becomes quadriplegic after a serious work accident. Under the care of nurse Thelma (Queen Latifah), he questioned his life and considered an euthanasia procedure. That plan left out when a serial killer meticulous defies the police, making Rhyme active again. Beside the beautiful Amelia Donaghy (Angelina Jolie), a web of puzzles unraveled in the search for the mysterious killer. With memorable performances and little disposition for clichés, the film will leave you glazed from beginning to end.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, was also willing to send us a personalized comment about the film:
I have to commend Apple for the recent choices of Movies of the week. The Bone Collector was well received by the general public and even consolidated the protagonist's career in the suspense genre, but received many reviews from experts and, in one of them, they even characterized it as “squandered cast”. Particularly, I think it's a nice film, which ends, yes, abruptly, but that meets expectations. Another highlight is the book by Jeffery Deaver, a specialist in police suspense on which the production was based, rich in details that went unnoticed in the film (even because there are many). I recommend it, from the same director and also with Jolie, Salt and The Memory Giver.
