In addition to Free app of the week, every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week, whose purchase is for $ 3.
The title selected this time was Taking the Delay, with Robert De Niro and Zac Efron.
Check out his trailer:
Here's what Apple says about the movie:
Sex, drugs, alcohol, karaok and a drug dealer named Tan Pam (Jason Mantzoukas) are all elements of this hilarious comedy.
The straightforward lawyer (Zac Efron) thinks he is traveling to Florida to help his grandfather Dick (Robert De Niro) who was left alive recently to face the loss.
But instead, the grandfather reveals his true personality during the crazy weekend in Daytona, making Jason see that life is much more than work and his controlling bride Meredith (Julianne Hough).
The scribbled humor of the film guarantees a good laugh and the chemistry between De Niro and Efron works very well and gives a special touch to the feature “Taking Out the Delay”.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
Apart from Delay brings one of the greatest actors of all time, Robert de Niro, and Zac Efron, who has not yet managed to disconnect his image from the High School Musical franchise.
The idea of the film is great, but the result is less, since the script was lost in cliches, leaving the best of both protagonists aside in the exhaustive attempt to make people laugh.
Even so, I still consider it fun, but it can be seen TV (either open or closed).
