Movie of the week: buy “Mad Max: Fury Road”, directed by George Miller, for R $ 9.90!

Every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on production) R $ 9.90. In the latter, unfortunately, she did not select any. But now we’re back – entitled to repeat.

The selected title again was “Mad Max: Fury Road”, directed by George Miller, and starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.

Check out his trailer:

Here’s what Apple says about the movie:

Thirty years after the last adventure set in a future where water is more valuable than gold and fuel fuels violent gang cars, policeman Max Rockatansky is back – and better than ever. In place of Mel Gibson, Tom Hardy takes on the role of the hero, but it is Charlize Theron who steals the show as Furiosa, a rebel who tries to free women from the tyrant Immortan Joe. Director George Miller uses intense pursuits in the desert and vehicles of all kinds to build a raw cinematic spectacle and a simple, yet full of messages plot.

As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio [@tripalavra], who is a movie buff, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:

When George Miller announced the sequel to “Mad Max”, expectations were high – some about the protagonist, some about the plot and all about what was to come. Mel Gibson was discarded, so Tom Hardy was chosen to take his place – and as co-star, the great Charlize Theron. “Mad Max: Fury Road” is much more than just chaotic people or settings; its plot has several other artists and they are automobiles. Miller spent four years painstakingly developing each vehicle; he adapted, created and brought each machine to life. That is, each car, truck, motorcycle, etc. it was developed as if they were characters who could express the toughness of their script and were the backbone of the film. I consider this one of the best films of recent years, not for nothing was nominated for an Oscar and won several awards at several other festivals. I recommend!
