The search brings a plot full of puzzles that are revealed to viewers since the beginning of the film. With a narrative that alternates between past and present, the plot of the film revolves around the disappearance of a girl and the investigation of her father, Matthew (Ryan Reynolds), to rescue her. The focus is not on who kidnapped or where she is, but on the complexity of the characters that comes to light gradually, showing the drama lived by the characters. The psychological view is far beyond hunting a great villain and shows the cruelty of the civilized world.
