In addition to App of the week, every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week, whose purchase is only $ 3. The title selected this time was Beautiful to death, with Glria Pires.
Check out his trailer:
Here's what Apple says about the movie:
In this comedy for the whole family, Glria Pires shines like Paula Lins, a vain and arrogant doctor who develops a pill that promises to eliminate cellulite once and for all. But she does not foresee the serious side effects and dies after having taken her own medicine, still unknown. Then Dr. Paula, in the form of a spirit, will try to prevent the pill from starting to be sold and for that she will make a medical psychologist hell, who ends up getting involved with her daughter (played by Antonia Morais, daughter of Glria Pires in life) real). In addition to provoking laughter at the female obsession with the perfect body, the film thrills when reflecting on the relationship between mother and daughter.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
Although I think it is cool that there is more and more investments and national films, as well as in markets more accustomed to almost daily releases, the maxim is that most films are not good. I am not measuring budget, cast, script or production, but the film itself. That said, the Movie of the week enter this list of repetitive films, without a proper direction and that could be easy, easy to have been just a short film (maximum 20 minutes). I recommend, from the same protagonist and infinitely more productive, the film “Se Eu Fosse Voc” clich, yes, but very well adapted.
