In addition to App of the week, every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week, whose purchase is only $ 3. The title selected this time was Legends of the Passion, with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins.
Check out his trailer:
Here's what Apple says about the movie:
Scenes of endless landscapes at the beginning of the 20th century mark the film Lendas da PaixĂŁo, a family-style Western-style drama that unfolds around a romantic history from other times, reminiscent of peaks in films from past decades. Brad Pitt appears with long blond hair and razes the skin of Tristan, the middle son of the patriarch and colonel in the army played by Anthony Hopkins. The breathtaking soundtrack and the wonderful Oscar-winning photograph steal the show several times, but it is the excellent performances, including a young Julia Ormond at the time, that hold our attention.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, was also willing to send us a personalized comment about the film:
Apple has hit the nail on the head with its latest Movie of the week, and this week could not be different. Starting with the great director Edward Zwick, who has won several awards and is responsible for other successes that I will indicate below. The production is full of good actors, has a plot and plot well tied and narrowly became a 5 star movie. He grabbed an Oscar award (Best Photography) and received two other nominations. Watch, from the same director: The Last Samurai, "Blood Diamond" and "Tempo De Glria" one of my favorites.
Enjoy!
