Every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on the production) R $ 9.90. The title selected this time was “La La Land: Singing Estaes”, with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.

Damien Chazelle brings back the emotion of musicals with the magnificent “La La Land: Cantando Estaes”. Winner of six Oscar statuettes, including best director and best screenwriter for Chazelle, the film follows the romance of aspiring actress Mia (Emma Stone) and pianist Sebastian (Ryan Gosling) as they struggle to win with their talents. The film's soundtrack and choreography are irresistible and the city of Los Angeles shines as a backdrop. But the highlight is even with the harmony of Stone and Gosling as the couple in love.

I'm not a fan of musicals, but as this is a movie that won some statuettes, I made an effort and, honestly, I didn't see anything much. If you compare it with other films of the genre, like Moulin Rouge – Love in Red, or even O Rei do Show, you can see that “La La Land: Cantando Estaes” is at least ok. The award-winning performances, I consider an exaggeration; the competent script, the normal film, the academy and its choices each year less technical and more commercial. You will see why they changed the envelopes during the award 😜
