Every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on production) R $ 9.90. The title selected this time was “Ilha dos Cachorros”, an animation by Wes Anderson.

Here’s what Apple says about the movie:
Anyone who knows the work of director Wes Anderson already knows what to expect from “Ilha dos Cachorros”: sarcastic humor and meticulously constructed characters. Upon the filmmaker’s return to stop motion since “O Fantástico Sr. Raposo”, we have the story of a little boy looking for his dog who, together with the other dogs in the city, was exiled in Ilha do Lixo. This search yields an unusual partnership between the character and a pack. Anderson approaches isolationism in a fun and touching way with the help of the voices of Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton and Bill Murray.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio [@tripalavra], who is a movie buff, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
Wes is a different director; his films are generally eccentric and funny. In this Movie of the week, we have a meticulously conducted production, after all it was captured using the technique stop motion – something your fans and producers are used to. What caught my attention most were the reactions: while some loved, others hated – and I agree with both on some points. It is not the best Wes film, as we have a weak history; on the other hand, it is funny and light. I recommend “The Marine Life with Steve Zissou” and “The Fantastic Mr. Raposo”, by the same director.
