Apple chooses a weekly Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on production) R $ 9.90.
The title selected this time was “Green Book: The Guide”, with Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen.

Here is the synopsis of the film:
Based on real events, Tony Lip, an Italian-American security guard, is hired as a driver for Dr. Don Shirley, a black upper-class pianist, during a tour of the southern United States. They must follow “The Guide” to take them to the few establishments that were safe for African Americans. Faced with racism and danger – as well as unexpected humanity and humor – they are forced to put aside differences to survive and thrive on that journey.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio [@tripalavra], who is a movie buff, also sent us a comment about the film:
THE Movie of the week it was done unpretentiously, with a low budget but with great esteem. The director’s idea went beyond simply adapting the story of one of the greatest American musicians: it was to overcome the barrier of prejudice, in a light and subtle way. There was, indeed, criticism from many about the fiction over the plot – but, after all, if they wanted a real story, they could have made a documentary and or even a short film. Therefore, I consider “Green Book: The Guide” to be a great film and deserving of its recognition. I recommend!
