In addition to App of the week, every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week, whose purchase is for $ 3. The title selected this time was Drive Hard, with John Cusack.
Check out his trailer:
Here's what Apple says about the movie:
In this action comedy, Peter Roberts (Thomas Jane) is a former motor racing driver who decided to abandon his career and become a driving instructor to dedicate more time to his family. But his life takes on a new destiny by scheduling a class with Simon Keller (John Cusack) and, suddenly, realizing that he has become complicit in a bank robbery. Now, they need to escape the police and the mob in a chase full of explosive scenes where it is not clear who the bandits are and who the good guys are.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
Do you know those films that you already know the story of just eye-popping? The lines, the chases, the performances that seem like copies and / or heaps of several films? Well, this is one of them, but what surprises me the most and at the same time leaves me full of doubts to think: what happened to John Cusack? I always considered him a great actor, with passages and leading role in good films, but in recent years he has been participating in weak productions, considered B and this is one of them. Do not recommend! However, I can indicate two films of the actor: Alta Fidelidade, which has a great soundtrack, and 2012 the last of the good films he starred in.
