Every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on the production) R $ 9.90. The title selected this time was “Diary of a Banana: Falling on the Road”, with Jason Drucker and Alicia Silverstone.

One of the most beloved cinematographic series for children and adolescents reaches a new moment in this fourth film. “Diary of a Banana: Falling on the Road” brings new faces to the Heffley family and the stadium gets it right by keeping the director of the two previous features, David Bowers. The filmmaker also preserves the innocent humor of the franchise and manages to balance the child cast, led by charismatic Jason Drucker as protagonist Greg Heffley. This time, the plot takes the characters on a journey through the United States full of embarrassing moments, highlighting the timing actress Alicia Silverstone.

Based on a bestseller for children, “Diary of a Banana” has already yielded a trilogy and now has its reboot. I can safely say that for those who like their predecessors there is not much difference, but this one was less successful and it seems to me a film for television. There's not much to say, other than: wait and see on TV.
