In addition to App of the week, every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week, whose purchase is only $ 3. The title selected this time was Closer – Too Close, with Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Clive Owen.

Here's what Apple says about the movie:
Since the beginning of the film, Closer – Nearly Too Much goes against the cliché of typical romantic comedies and presents a much more daring and even provocative script. Director Mike Nichols' film adaptation of Patrick Marber's Broadway play nominated for the award Tony Award, kept the clever dialogues of the English playwright, who mixes comedy, deep emotions and a touch of cruelty. In fact, Patrick Marber's play on words is probably the most interesting element of the film. Closer's story – Too Close is not so much about relationships as it is about what people are able to do to save or boycott these ties. Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Clive Owen and Natalie Portman play characters in a complex love setting that involves four people for whom this game seems to end. At the end of a long career of subversive experiments of the genre, Mike Nichols demonstrates masterful control in both history and characters. Owen and Portman's bold performances were rewarded with Oscar nominations in the category of supporting actors.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, was also willing to send us a personalized comment about the film:
THE Movie of the week divides opinions, but not from critics and leading academies, being nominated for several Oscars and winning the Golden Globes of Best actress and Best Supporting Actor. The unsettling plot in order to put us in the midst of this drama, which flirts with reality. For this same reason, the film does not please everyone. I also recommend, from the same director, the latest film A Second Chance (with Harrison Ford).
