Movie of the week: buy “Bridge of Spies”, with Tom Hanks, for $ 3!

In addition to Free app of the week, every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week, whose purchase is for $ 3. The title selected this time was Bridge of Espies, with Tom Hanks.

Check out his trailer:

Here's what Apple says about the movie:

Box office king Steven Spielberg returns to the screen in yet another mind-boggling film. This time, Ponte dos Espies brings a suspense script signed by the brothers Ethan and Joel Coen and starring none other than Tom Hanks. It is 1957, and the actor lives an American lawyer hired to defend a Soviet spy in the middle of the Cold War. The mentor of “E.T.” and “Immediate Contacts of the Third Degree” does not disappoint us, on the contrary. The whole atmosphere of paranoia from one of humanity's weirdest moments is present. Spielberg lets his genius vein pulsate and shows us why a master at telling intriguing stories, full of mystery, with subtle touches of courage and hope. Play and get ready for a thriller first-rate cinema.

As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:

Come and agree, the last Movies of the week selected by Apple have been very cool. I would like to talk about Steven Spielberg: his latest films have not been successful at the box office and have not even yielded what was hoped for. that two points weighed: 1) the film's dissemination strategy was timid and 2) Tom Hanks goes through the same phase as the director. Even so, the film won an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actor category with the great Mark Rylance. It is good, because it presented a raw script, carried out strictly by its last cast, and Spielberg did not "Americanize" it, it stuck to history and its facts. I remember a film along the same lines: 13 Days That Shaken the World the idea was the same, but it chose sides and did not please everyone. Soon we will see Hanks in two new films: Sully – The Hudson River Hero and Hell, in which he plays Professor Robert Langdon again.

Enjoy! 😀
