Every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on production) R $ 9.90.
The title selected this time was “Benzinho”, with Karine Teles, Otávio Müller and Adriana Esteves.

Selected for the Sundance Festival, “Benzinho” is one of the best examples of drama centered on family conflicts. In this case, the change of a teenager (Konstantinos Sarris) to play handball in Germany. The son’s imminent departure triggers questions from his mother (Karine Teles, also a screenwriter for the film), who balances her studies with her job to support her family and also help her sister (Adriana Esteves). Gustavo Pizzi’s sensitive direction captures Karine’s chemistry with Otávio Müller, in the role of her husband, in a natural and emotional way.

THE Movie of the week surprised me and may surprise you too. Okay, the name sounds strange, but it makes sense throughout the story – with its script very well done and its direction conscious. Another highlight is the cast: with its simplicity, it makes the film pleasant and the drama seems to be among us.
