Apple chooses a weekly Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on production) R $ 9.90.
The title selected this time was “A Star is Born”, with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. Check out his trailer:
Here is the synopsis of the film:
Experienced musician Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) discovers – and falls in love – with hard-working artist Ally (Lady Gaga). She is about to give up her dream of being a great singer … when Jack encourages her to succeed. But even when Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of their relationship crumbles, as Jack fights a constant battle with his own inner demons.

“Nasce Uma Estrela” was successful in all four versions: 1937, 1954, 1976 and 2018. We had Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand and Lady Gaga as protagonists. It is impressive that, even with time, with adaptations to the scripts, the various versions left their marks. My highlight for this Movie of the week goes to Bradley Cooper, who directed, acted, convinced Gaga to share the screens with him and his friend / director Todd Phillips to produce the film. In addition, we have one of the best films of 2018, winner of several awards and that without a doubt is worth seeing.
