Every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on the production) R $ 9.90. The title selected this time was "The Book Girl", with Emily VanCamp and Michael Nyqvist.

Here's what Apple says about the movie:
Director Marya Cohn's debut film is an engaging drama set in the disputed and elitist New York literary market. Using two timelines, the filmmaker captures the difficulties of a young assistant editor in a sector dominated by misogyny. As Alice, Emily VanCamp is invited to work on the re-release of the book by Milan Daneker (Michael Nyqvist), a writer who is closely linked to his teenage traumas. Cohn delicately sews the loss of a girl's innocence, relying on VanCamp's touching performance and lean script.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
Many adaptations are great. I'm not talking about details here, because translating 300-600 pages, for example, into a single script is very difficult. But there are adaptations that are sensational, see the trilogy “O Senhor dos Anis”, and others that could be better; this is one of them. The legal film, but the sensational book, that is, there was a lack of delicacy in the translation of the pages for the big screens, either in the characters, or in the driving and the motto that the book has as its main part.
