Every Thursday Apple picks one Movie of the week iTunes Store, whose purchase (even at 4K / HDR, depending on production) comes R $ 9.90. The title selected this time was “45 Days Without You”, by Brazilian playwright Rafael Gomes.
Check out his trailer:
Here's what Apple says about the movie:
Playwright Rafael Gomes debuts in the direction of a feature film with an intense mix of romantic comedy and melancholy drama. The backbone of “45 Days Without You” is the uneasy Rafael (Rafael De Bona), who waits for his ex-boyfriend to return until he gives up and leaves to visit friends in different parts of the world. Situations in different countries yield great dialogues with diverse references (from Nietzsche to Chinese cinema) and offer a wide menu of characters, elevated by the charismatic cast and little known in Brazilian cinema.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cameraman, also sent us a personalized comment about the movie:
Like many, I didn't know the Movie of the week. After watching him, I say that the national cinema has improved a lot! I'm not necessarily saying we have a hell of a movie here, but one at least different. The script is simple, sometimes tiring, but somewhat clever and convincing. I do not consider a bedside movie, but for those who like the genre it should be seen.
