Motorola Xoom to be launched without Flash

According to a recent Motorola advertisement, the long-awaited Xoom tablet, the first device with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, is expected to reach the US market without Flash support.

The lack of technology, at this point, may be related to the release of Flash 10.2 that should happen in the coming weeks. The new version, according to Adobe, will be released with important optimizations, mainly for tablets shipped with the latest version of Android.

The Xoom tablet will hit stores on February 24 and be sold for $ 799 by US operator Verizon, with no subsidies. The version with Wi-Fi only costs 600 dollars.
