Motorola Xoom 2 arrives in Brazil

Motorola Mobility announced the arrival of the Motorola Xoom 2, available in Wi-Fi and 3G versions, to the Brazilian market. The new version of the tablet features a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display, Android 3.2 operating system, Honeycomb and brings several innovations compared to its predecessor.

The edges of the device have also been designed to facilitate its handling. The new tablet comes with a Business Ready seal, loaded with productivity tools and a high level of security, as support for the main types of VPN and data encryption.

The launch has Motoprint integrated with the main applications, for wireless printing of documents, photos and internet pages from your tablet. As approximately 100 grams lighter than the original Motorola Xoom, even more portable.

Thanks to its splash-guard finish, a treatment that makes it waterproof, the new tablet is also resistant to spilled drinks or raindrops. The Motorola Xoom 2 also comes with a battery that allows more than ten hours of video playback, which means that the device accompanies the user wherever he is.

Among the entertainment features, the Motorola Xoom 2 records and plays videos in Full HD and has an HDMI output, for connection to HDTV, an infrared signal emitter, which allows its use as a universal remote control and surround sound with 3D virtual effect.

The Motorola Xoom 2 3G will be available in Brazil for R $ 1,899.
