Moto Maxx was the first device marketed in Brazil compatible with turbo charging technology. Months after the official launch of the model, in February this year, the Moto X 2014 was also sold with the same charger compatible with the feature. Since last Friday (07/03), the Motorola Turbo Charger can be purchased separately for $ 75. See details below.
Subtly, Motorola made its turbo charger available through the company's online store for $ 75.05. Motorola's Turbo Charger uses Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology, and to take advantage of it, the smartphone must also be compatible. The current turbo compatible devices are: Moto X 2014, Moto Maxx, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and Nexus 6. Qualcomm's proprietary turbo charging technology, but according to some tests, the feature is also compatible with the Exynos processor found on Samsung devices mentioned above.
The Turbo Charger delivers 15 watts of charging power, reaching up to eight hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charge. Most interesting in this new technology is the progressive charging speed: the emptier your battery is, the faster it recharges. In contact with the Motorola Mobility Brasil advisory, we had the information that the Turbo Charger can be purchased at both the company's online store and the branded physical stores.
And have you tried turbo charging technology? Do you find the price charged by Motorola fair?
