Recent leaks indicate that Motorola is preparing to make its newest top-of-the-line smartphone official on February 23, the day before the start of the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2020 in Barcelona.

This device should be launched as Motorola Edge +, a name that was revealed by the renowned Evan Blass a few days ago. Now, the company's next flagship has appeared on Geekbench, which has published some details about its specifications.

The listing of Motorola Edge + shows that it should hit the market with Snapdragon 865 processor, mentioned as "burton" in the field of the card me. This is hardly a surprise, given that we are talking about a top of the line and this Qualcomm chipset will be the "heart" of the best smartphones this year.

In addition to the Snapdragon 865, Geekbench also listed an incredible 12GB of RAM, as well as the presence of Android 10. Unfortunately, the rest of the specs are still unknown, but taking into account the information we have so far, it is quite clear that Motorola intends to bet high on his new smartphone.

As for the design, it is only known that the Motorola Edge + will have a "hole" in the display to house the front sensor, the same feature found in the Motorola One Vision, released months ago.

Recalling that the Moto Z2 Force of 2017 was the last high-performance device of the American brand, given that the Z3 and Z4, which were presented in the following years, did not bring the latest (and powerful) processors from Qualcomm. So it looks like 2020 will mark Motorola's comeback in the topside market.
