Motorola Edge + has new render exposed

Motorola has come back into the spotlight with its new foldable, the Motorola Razr, but that is not all, previous rumors point to Motorola's return to the line top market.

In the coming weeks, we expect to see another Motorola release, the Motorola Edge +, which would be the first Motorola smartphone since the Moto Z2 Force launch in 2017, to bring top-of-the-line specs.

Today we had access to a video, shared via Pricebaba, showing the rendering of the Motorola Edge +. The smartphone seems to bring a new design different from the last smartphones released by the manufacturer.

The design shows a very different construction from the Z line, and also from the more current lines, G and One. In addition, previously leaked specifications corroborate it to arrive to compete with smartphones such as Galaxy S20, for example.

Leaker @onleaks today posted on Twitter information about the design of Motorola's next top of the line. According to the shared information, we will have a device with 161.1 x 71.3 x 9.5mm and, on the rear cameras, 11.5mm.

In addition, Edge + will bring a 6.8-inch screen with a fingerprint scanner on the screen, since no area is displayed for the sensor when rendering.

At the rear of the smartphone, we find a triple set of cameras with lenses positioned vertically, inside a ledge. In addition, you can see a sensor, perhaps ToF next to the dual LED flash.

Amazingly, the images also show a 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature that is less and less used in high-end smartphones.

As for the specifications, as I mentioned earlier, previous leaks show that the Motorola Edge + can arrive bringing FullHD + screen (2340 1080) of 6.67 inches, curved, with 90Hz refresh rate. Bringing out the set, we will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and versions of up to 12GB of RAM and variants with 64GB, 128GB and up to 256GB of internal storage.

And, to hold all that power and differentiated screen refresh rate, the Motorola Edge + would arrive with a 5.170mAh battery. Edge + is expected to be the first Motorola smartphnoe to support 5G.
