The profile @OnLeaks on Twitter shared with the site XDA Developers these are, it seems, the first leaked images we have of the Motorola Edge. In addition, some specifications of the device were also informed. Regarding the photos, the website explains that the bottom of each one was removed to protect the source from the leak.
With the new images published, it is possible to see the waterfall screen, one of the highlights of the device's design. The Motorola Edge also does not abandon the 3.5mm connector and, according to the source, have support for microSD card to expand storage. As these are two characteristics that we are seeing disappear on several smartphones, this can be an attraction for some consumers.
On the set of cameras, the Motorola Edge expected with a 64MP main camera combined with 16MP wide angle and a telephoto lens using an 8MP sensor. The three cameras are positioned to the left of the smartphone vertically with the flash and the laser autofocus system. The front camera is 25MP.
The Motorola logo on the back is not used as a fingerprint reader as in other models of the company's smartphones, the fingerprint sensor is under the screen. The device also promises to bring a screen with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, being possible to choose 60Hz in the settings or even an automatic mode.
Motorola added speakers at the bottom and top of the phone, which indicates a stereo sound for the device. The SIM card slot is also at the top, the space can receive microSD and nanoSIM cards.
Among its general specifications we can mention the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 4500mAh battery, digital reader under the screen. The source also reports that the phone will not support wireless charging and there is also no confirmation about the wired charging speed.
