Motorola announces three new Android smartphones in Brazil

Motorola Mobility announced, last week, the launch of three new smartphones with Android operating system in its portfolio of cell phones in Brazil.

With a slim and “cool” design, the Motoluxe equipped with a 4 inch touchscreen, 8 MP camera with built-in flash, 1400 mAh battery and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

It also has a fillet with a light effect located at the bottom of the screen to notify you when you missed a call, received a message or email.

* Expected to reach the market: first quarter of 2012.

Water resistant, dustproof and with a scratch resistant Gorilla Glass screen, the Motorola Defy Mini is intended for users who prefer a tougher device.

It comes equipped with a 3.2 inch touchscreen, 3MP rear camera with flash, 1650mAh battery and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

Developed by Motorola Industrial Ltda., The Motorola i940 has a unique finish and push-to-talk functionality, which facilitates instant communication with friends, family and co-workers.

With a 3.5 inch screen, the i940 also features a 5 MP camera, dual microphone and noise reduction technology, 3.5 mm jack for connecting headphones, GPS, Bluetooth and microSD card slot up to 32 GB.

However, with regard to the operating system, the i940 leaves a little to be desired: Android 2.1. Its suggested price of R $ 1,199.00.
