Motorola announces Android Phone with emphasis on social networks

Motorola announced on Thursday the launch of the long-awaited Motorola Cliq, the company's first device to come equipped with the Android mobile platform and the presence of a personalized interface that brings the operating system closer to the hottest social networks on the internet.

Presented as MOTOBLUR, the interface developed by Motorola takes advantage of Android technology and brings users closer to social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and MySpace, in addition to easy access to emails, news, favorite applications and widgets.

The Motorola Cliq comes equipped with support for 3G, WiFi, an integrated 5 megapixel camera, 24 fps video recording, 3.5 mm headset jack and QWERTY physical keyboard. Below, some images released by Motorola and the promotional video:
