Mother uses Find My iPhone and helps police find daughter kidnapped by ex-boyfriend

We’ve seen many cool stories involving the Search My iPhone (Find My iPhone) of iCloud, but never again remember the importance of enabling the feature.

This week, as reported by NBC News, a mother managed to find her daughter's iPhone and take the Pennsylvania State Police (in the United States) to the place where she was after being kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend.

The 18-year-old girl was found in the parking lot of a McDonald's store almost 250km from her home. For two days, she used the iPhone to send messages to me asking for help.

A judge has already ruled that Joseph Boller, also 18, can only be released on payment of a $ 150,000 bond.
