Between renovations and Apple Store openings, the Cupertino giant has also planned to relocate some of its stores in the United States. In addition, for the sake of the company’s plans in Canada, the project to renovate a mall in Vancouver was approved and gave the green light for the expansion of the Apple Store in the region.

Vancouver
Last February, we saw that Apple was ready to expand its store in Vancouver (Canada), however, headwinds (read: problems) prevented the works from starting immediately, leaving plans suspended until now.
After a round of revisions, the Vancouver City Council unanimously approved the renovation of the Pacific Center, where Apple will build the new Apple Pacific Center, as disclosed by Business in Vancouver.
Among the delimitations made by the Council to carry out the renovation are some changes in the gigantic green wall of the installation (which will have two floors), which will soon be reduced to allow an entrance to the mall, adjacent to the future Apple Store, as seen in surrender updated below:
If, as of now, the plans continue as expected, the new Apple Pacific Center will be the company’s first store in Canada to have all the design news in retail among the 29 locations of the Apple in the country. Apple has yet to release any official information about the expansion.
San Mateo
In the US state of California, Apple is preparing to move the address of one of its stores in San Mateo to a substantially larger location. Similar to Vancouver’s plans, Apple Hillsdale currently occupies a space within the Hillsdale Mall, which is in the midst of a remodeling project.
Apple is expected to occupy the outer space of a new mall block, the thriving North Block Center, which is still under construction. The facility will replace an old Sears department store and is expected to open later this year.
According to internal reports of the complex, Apple received an authorization to invest about US $ 6 million in the space that is being renovated, more precisely in a building of the complex, known as Building K. A wall completely covers the facade of the building, still so it is possible to see that the work on the building is already underway.
Adventure
While the San Mateo store move continues under the hood, Apple has confirmed that it will open the new Apple Adventure on the day August 10, according to Miami Herald. As with the stores mentioned above, the unit in Aventura will move from an internal space in the homonymous shopping center to an external pavilion of the complex.
Aventura Mall is Florida’s largest shopping center and is known for its extensive collection of artwork. The mall opened a new wing in late 2017, with a sculptural tower of about 28 meters. Apple’s new facility will be at the foot of the slide and next to the complex’s entrance, as seen on the map below.
Naturally, the new location will be contemplated with the novelties of Apple’s retail, including a Video Wall. As part of the store’s opening, Apple will offer special Today at Apple, including musical performances, as well as music, photo and design labs.
