More accessories and apps, robots and 5G: these are Deloitte's predictions for 2020

The ten trends in the technology, media and telecommunications market for 2020 were brought together by Deloitte in the TMT Predictions 2020 report. According to the data, revenues in the sector will come mostly from five areas, with smartphones taking the main share of the the market, about a billion dollars.

In a statement, Deloitte's partner and leader of the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industry of the company, Srgio do Monte Lee, explains that in 2020 TMT revenues will mainly originate from five sub-industries and only smartphones will be left with the main market share. Next are data centers and business software ($ 660 billion), television ($ 600 billion), Internet of Things ($ 500 billion) and computers ($ 400 billion).

In 5G the consultant points to the growth of private implementations of the new generation of mobile networks, especially in industrial contexts, but the areas of artificial intelligence, with the growth of chips with integrated AI, and robots in the workplace are also highlighted .
