mophie launches battery cases for the XS, XS Max and XR iPhones

Probably many know or have heard of mophie, the manufacturer of cases and accessories for gadgets from Apple (and the Android world) that has been on the market for years. It is best known for its battery cases – compatible with several smartphone models, including now the iPhones XS, XS Max and XR.

THE juice pack access for the new iPhones it has 2,000mAh, while the XS Max version has 2,200mAh. In practice, this expands the talk time on the iPhone XS to up to 25 hours and 31 hours on the XS Max and XR models.

The cases have a similar design regardless of the iPhone model you have; since the iPhone X, however, mophie implemented wireless charging technology, which made it possible to remove the bottom of the case that connects to the Lightning port (allowing it to be used for other purposes).

In addition to providing extra charge, mophie battery cases have a sturdy polycarbonate finish and are lightly rubberized to dissipate the force of impact from falls, helping to protect the device. It also has a USB-C port for fast charging.

The juice pack access is already on sale on the mophie website for $ 100 (single price for the three models); that is, the manufacturer’s option is $ 30 cheaper than Apple’s Smart Battery Case.

For now, it is only available in black, but there are also versions in gold, red and navy blue (iPhone XS and XS Max); red and blue (iPhone XR).
