The bagel emoji has undergone a fun change. After the fourth update by iOS 12.1 beta for iPhone and iPad, the new sticker doesn't even look like a design. 5. Change in hamburger emoji

In the food industry, there was still polemic with the hamburger emoji. A comparison between Apple and Google figures has generated a funny discussion on the Internet. All this because, in Google's image, cheese appears under the meat, while in the symbols of other companies, such as Apple, the cheese is on top. At the time, Google spoke up and said it would "correct" the mistake.

Apple also did not fall behind in the criticism, after all, lettuce was also out of its standard position on the iPhone the hortalia was below the meat and not over the hamburger, as it should be. The Unicode Consortium defines what the hamburger should take, on the other hand, does not mention the organization of food.

6. Squirrel Emoji Locking WhatsApp

Already the squirrel emoji was responsible for causing a bug in WhatsApp. When trying to remove or touch a picture of the pet, followed by the message tap here or "If you touch the black dot your WhatsApp will crash", users of the app reported a lock on the messenger or even the smartphone. The glitch was not a virus, but it affected Android phones, and could only be resolved by closing and opening the app or restarting the phone. That's because, according to the Android Xataka website, the emoji was shipped along with over 4,000 hidden characters, more than WhatsApp supports. Erasing the message undamaged was only possible through WhatsApp Web or by deleting the entire conversation from the app.

7. Emojis Used With Different Directions From Originals

An image can have more than one meaning, and in the case of emojis, the difference in interpretation of each figure can be even greater since they vary by technology company. To cite a two-way example, this emoji (see image below) was meant to indicate an embarrassed face. Users of iOS, however, usually use it to represent some scared. J who uses Android understands the picture as something related to compliance. Finally, people who use Windows use the emoji to represent a joy, like luck, with narrow eyes.

In order to reduce the taboo surrounding the theme, the menstruation emoji has never been approved by the Unicode Consortium. Created by Plan International UK, the drawing of a smiling blood droplet is on the waiting list after the attempt to approve another, more explicit emoji: a blood-dropping panties. The panties won a survey by Plan that created five designs including an absorbent, a third, a menstrual calendar and blood droplets and asked their readers to choose which one would best represent menstruation. Among the figures in the 2019 package is the image of a drop of blood, with a broad description, including menstruation.
