Ming-Chi Kuo: new MacBooks [Air/Pro] coming until June, first Mac with ARM chip later this year

The most famous analyst in the world Apple, Ming-Chi Kuo, is back today with some forecasts of launches for this and next year.

According to Kuo, until June, we will probably see the arrival of new MacBooks Air and Pro, all of them, of course, with the “new” keyboard with scissor mechanism based on the Magic Keyboard, such as the 16 ″ MBP release.

Kuo also believes that Apple will launch, in the last quarter of 2020 (later, in the first of 2021), the first Mac with own chip based on ARM architecture. He did not specify what model it would be, however.

Finally, the TF International Securities analyst forecasts for next year probably in the second or third quarter of 2021 MacBooks with a completely renewed design.

Regarding possible difficulties in the production lines of Macs due to the pandemic of the Coronavrus (COVID-19), Kuo believes that they will already be at relatively normal levels of operation by the end of this month. That is, these Apple plans would not be affected by the outbreak.
