Microsoft releases free trial version of Outlook for Mac integrated with Google services

Last month, Microsoft reported that the Outlook for Mac would gain some improvements related to Google accounts (more precisely synchronization with the search giant's Calendar and Contacts services) and would be matched to the mobile versions of it available for iOS and Android platforms.

The final version of Outlook with such new features is not yet ready and a trial version was only available to community participants Office Insider Fast (closed group for Office 365 subscribers). This week, however, the software giant said it was ready to expand the scope of the tests, releasing a version preview Outlook for anyone interested in installing it on your machine and enjoying the news until June 30, 2017 obviously and preferably, helping the company by sending feedbacks.

In the new version, Google Calendar information (Calendar) and Contacts (Contacts) are synchronized and editable. The configuration of a Google account in Outlook has also been improved, as well as now offering enhanced support for Gmail, including the feature "Focused" inbox and automatic detection of travel and shipping information (features that were previously exclusive to users with Exchange, Office 365 or Outlook emails).
