Microsoft launches Cortana for iPhone, but initially only in the American and Chinese App Stores

Waited a few months ago, the assistant Cortana for iPhone it had already entered the private beta phase but today the App Store has officially arrived. At least in the United States and China, and it wouldn't do much good here, as it is not yet available in Portuguese.

A competitor for Siri, Cortana is Microsoft's bet for a truly personal assistant. It controls calendar, interests, contacts, reminders etc. but obviously always be more integrated with the system in its original environment (in this case, Windows Phone).

On the iPhone, Cortana accepts commands such as the creation of reminders synchronized with the PC, tracks packages, flights, sports results, actions and other information, offers interest management, brings the traditional “jokes”, among others.

Not the kind of app that users will go crazy to download (much less Brazilians), but competition is always good and that should put pressure on both Apple and Google.
