Microsoft Edge is released for Android and iOS tablets

The Windows 10 browser enters even more platforms, now with support for Android and iOS tablets

O Microsoft Edge no longer exclusive to Windows 10 devices. In October last year, the browser was launched for Android and iOS smartphones. In the Play Store alone, more than a million downloads have been made. This "foreign" version is even better than in Windows 10 Mobile years. Through such success, in that Microsoft has extended Edge support devices: Android and iOS tablets.

It is now possible to download the Microsoft on tablets through the Play Store and App Store. However, do not create so much expectation, as there are no new features. Unfortunately some of the coolest features remain exclusive to Windows 10, such as adding notes by OneNote.

Microsoft is being careful about the Edge on competing tablets, because they really are competition from Windows tablets. Only the features present on the smartphone version are on the tablets. the basics: password synchronization and reading list, the “Continue on PC” feature and the “reading mode”.
