Microsoft Announces Two New Surface Connection Docks

Microsoft launched a series of launches for the Surface line and updated the brand's accessory family. The main highlight is the new Surface Dock 2, which brings new connections and more power in data transfer.

The Surface Dock 2 has four USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports in the Type-C standard, which can transfer data at up to 10 Gbps. Half of the ports also have video support and fast 15W recharge.

The product also has two USB 3.1 Type-A Gen 2 connections, which are accompanied by an Ethernet port and a 3.5 mm audio connection. Travel Hub and new keyboards

In addition to the Surface Dock 2, Microsoft has also launched another connection accessory: the USB-C Travel Hub. The use of the product is similar to the main device, but the smaller size and the number of doors is diversified.
