With Messenger Rooms, a user with a Facebook account will be able to create a video room from Messenger. If the meeting is open to the public, it may even appear on the News Feed, on the Events page or even on the Groups tab. From this point on, anyone can join the conversation, even if they don't have a social network profile.

According to Facebook, the person who created the room has full autonomy to choose who can view and participate. The organizer can even remove people from the room or make it closed, with access by invitation only.
