Message received on iPhone in Sindis language may block equipment. Apple will release fix

It is not the first time that Apple devices, whether iPhone or iPad, block due to conflicts with some characters from languages in remote regions. This time there is a message made up of Sindhi characters, a language used in a province in Pakistan, which is generating the bug, reveals the Business Insider. A notification with a certain combination of characters is enough to crash the equipment.

The message itself consists of different Sindhi characters, combined with an emoji from an Italian flag. But other witnesses reveal that they do not need the flag to freeze the equipment. The effect of the message is on sharing via social networks, such as Twitter or Telegram, but also through Apple Messages.

The bug, which affects not only the iPhone and iPads, but also Mac and Apple Watches computers, can be circumvented through a hard reset. But Apple has already been notified of the problem and will have a solution soon, in an upcoming update of the operating system. The publication advises all who are afraid to receive the said message, to turn off all notifications from social networks until the correction is released.
