March event is expected to bring a 9.7 ″ version of the iPad Pro, not an “iPad Air 3”

So far, all the rumors said that at the supposed Apple event in March we saw the arrival of iPad Air 3, but today the 9to5Mac it brought a little hot information about Apple's plans.

According to them, the tablet that we will see in the coming weeks is actually a smaller version (9.7 inches, obviously) of the iPad Pro. And this is not just a different name; what we will have to be in fact a complete iPad Pro, only with a smaller screen.

This includes not only the A9X processor and 4GB of RAM, but also the four speakers, the Smart Connector (Apple would already be preparing a smaller version of the Smart Keyboard, obviously) and even support for the Apple Pencil. The smaller iPad Pro would also be sold in the same colors and capacities as the 12.9 inch, although a recent rumor said that the iPad Air 3 would come with the rose gold option. The prices would be equivalent to the current iPad Air 2.

The expectation that both the new iPad Pro and the rumored “iPhone 5se” will reach international stores on March 18. Be sure to read our full review of the iPad Pro, published just yesterday.
