This morning we commented on the release of version 15.12 of the excellent video editor Kdenlive and some people asked if it would take too long to launch a Linux distribution with this version of KDE applications, it seems that the Manjaro team answered you.
The announcement came from Philip Muller, Manjaro is already making available the first version of the system based on the KDE family of apps 15.12. This version of the system is nicknamed "Capella" and loads KDE Plasma 5.5.
In addition to the latest version of the KDE environment, the new release of Manjaro loads the Linux 4.3.2 kernel, however, the system maintains compatibility with other versions of Linux kernel that can be easily managed from the system control panel.
The Calamares graphic installer and the Manjaro-Tools package have also been updated in this release. You can download the development version of Manjaro from the official website. _____________________________________________________________________________ See any errors or would you like to add any suggestions to this article?
