Since its launch, Google Chrome has been known to be minimalist, light and fast. But even though Google?s browser baths most of its competitors, its developers found a competitor even faster than Chrome, all based on text, called Lynx.
As the search giant doesn?t like to be behind anyone, today it decided to launch the extension ChromeLite. Once installed, the user starts to access websites through a monochrome interface, and having access only to his texts. Thus, it starts to have an extremely fast navigation, without worrying about having several video codecs and plugins installed in the browser.
?We hope to give our users an option to safely and quickly enjoy the web in all its simplicity,? said the team.
