Macworld goes ahead and now publishes benchmarks of the new MacBooks Pro

Now we just talked about the results of MacBooks Air, this time the Macworld took the new MacBooks Pro to their labs and performed, again, their traditional benchmark.

As with Airs, all standard models of the new MacBooks Pro have been tested: the two are 13 and the two are 15 inches, in addition to the two with Retina screens. Configurations vary from Intel Core i5 processor dual-core 2.5GHz, 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD to Core i7 quad-core 2.6GHz, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD.

The two models, in general, were respectively 9% and 15% faster than their predecessors.

Here, the respective general gains were 14% and 8%. When we play the new models with Retina screens on the move, there is a significant gain from the use of flash memory: 30% and 38%, respectively, comparing the two current models.
