“MacPad Pro” concept idealizes Apple hybrid device with folding screen

Whether due to resistance by the company to certain technology applications or even to the lack of functional ways to apply some feature, certain ideas only exist in the so-called "concepts".

Still, as every technology is born of an idea, it is interesting from time to time to see what the mind-boggling designers bring to the public. So even if you think Apple will never announce something like the concept below, just admire what was called “MacPad Pro”.

Exactly as the name might suggest, this device would be a hybrid between an iPad, a MacBook Pro and even an iMac. Its surface could be used as both a large tablet screen and an iMac screen, but could also be seen there bent and used as a completely touch sensitive MacBook (both screen and keyboard). Like iPads Pro, “MacPad Pro” would also support Apple Pencil.

Some elements of iPhone X are also found on this device, such as the dual camera system at the rear. It would also come with a front camera, but in concept there is the notorious Notch (clipping, forehead, or whatever you want to call it).

Thinking about hybrid hardware may well be far from Apple's philosophy, and even though OLED technology is already being implemented in flexible displays, having a screen that is as perfectly foldable as that shown in the concept may require a much larger advance than that we already saw in the market.

However, as it is pure imagination, conjecture is always valid.
