MacBook Pro owners with defective NVIDIA GPUs may now require a replacement

The last time we talked about it was in September last year, so it's natural that some people have already forgotten about it, so here's a reminder: if you own a 15 or 17 inch MacBook Pro sold between May 2007 and September 2008, please be aware that NVIDIA is already receiving requests to exchange or refund the agreement regarding problematic GPUs.

NVIDIA - pineapple also for Apple

In this case, the aforementioned models that present problems (distorted images or total absence of video) are eligible for the exchange of the GPU at no cost to the user, be it labor, parts or transportation. Anyone who has already sought a solution on their own can be completely reimbursed by simply presenting the repair service documentation.

The registration form for users who wish to take advantage of this agreement is available here. In addition to these MacBook Pro models, some HP and Dell laptops are also eligible; the full list can be seen here.
