Previously sold for R $ 2,800 at the Apple Online Store Educacional do Brasil, the MacBook has today received a discount on its entry price, which is already in force not only in the United States, but also for purchases in Brazilian lands. Typically, the laptop costs R $ 3,000, but students can now buy it with a 10% discount, for R $ 2,700.
The MacBook in question comes with 2GB of memory, 250GB of HD and 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, in addition to the same integrated graphics hardware that can be found on MacBooks Pro on an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M. In its last review, it also gained a new structure unibody made of polycarbonate with a rubberized bottom (which makes it easier to clean) and an LED backlit monitor, but lost the FireWire 400 port.
The discount of R $ 300 in relation to the normal price of the convenient laptop for students, who normally already have a budget well committed to high school / college. Like the others sold in the Apple Online Store, it is possible to configure the MacBook with more memory (up to 4GB), internal storage (up to 500GB) and additional accessories / software.
