Mac mini now has twice as much storage and is more expensive in Brazil

In addition to launching new iPad Pro and MacBooks Air with Magic Keyboard, Apple also today updated the Mac mini bringing the double internal storage.

The company reported the change in a small paragraph at the end of the MacBook Air announcement, noting that the incoming Mac mini (four core processor and 3.6GHz) now comes with a 256GB SSD, while the top-of-the-line version ( six core processor and 3GHz) has a 512GB SSD.

Whether they're using it as a desktop computer, a family music and movie storage drive, or as a code compilation server for Xcode, customers love the Mac mini. The default settings for the Mac mini now come with double the storage capacity.

Apparently, that was the only change in Mac mini announced today. The hardware continues to be equipped with the same 8th generation Intel processors, 8GB of RAM (configurable up to 64GB) and Intel UHD Graphics 630 GPU.

The update of the Mac mini SSD was also the time for Ma to readjust his prices in the Brazil: previously, the entry version (with 128GB) was sold for R $ 7,000; now the 256GB version costs R $ 7,900. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line model, which cost R $ 9,400 (with 256GB), is now available for R $ 10,900 (with 512GB). Both values ??are obviously for payments up to 12x; view, there is 10% discount.

The new models are already available in the Brazilian Apple Store since the update was punctual, there was no need for a new approval by Anatel.
