In December, Microsoft implemented an interesting feature on Skype for iOS and Mac which remained disabled until recently. Now, without fanfare, the company has started testing it, freeing up for some users the possibility of sending video messages to contacts who are offline.
In iGadgets, just touch the contact that the option “Message with Video” appears. The messages have a maximum of three minutes and the user can also add a title and description.
On Macs (download the app here), the process is very similar: choose the contact, right click on it (or use the green arrow to open the menu) and choose the option “Send Video Message”.
An important detail: after sending a message, a warning appeared saying that I have 19 free messages left. For an unlimited number of uploads, I need to have an account premium (approximately R $ 10 per month).
Incredible as it may seem, the novelty even arrived first for Mac users and iGadgets. According to the The Verge, Microsoft plans to release the feature for Windows by the end of April.
